Zwei Workshops zu Degrowth und Solidarischer Ökonomie bei der aktuellen Online-Konferenz zu Transformativen Ökonomien setzen zwei Workshops zum gleichen Thema fort, die bei der Degrowth-Konferenz abgehalten worden sind. Am 1. Juli wird zu Solidarischer Ökonomie, Wirtschaftsdemokratie und Degrowth online weiter diskutiert!
Bei der Online-Degrowth-Konferenz, die zwischen 29. Mai und 1. Juni in Wien organisiert worden ist, hat das Regional Center of Expertise Graz-Styria der Universität Graz zusammen mit anderen Akteuren zwei Workshops zu Strategien Solidarischer Ökonomie abgehalten. Der eine fand in deutscher, der zweite in englischer Sprache statt. Dort wurden Inputs für einen Umriss solidarökonomischer Strategien im Degrowth-Kontext gesammelt. Auf dieser Basis wird zur Zeit ein kurzes öffentliches Statement zu Strategien ausgearbeitet.
Seit 25. Juni läuft nun die Online-Konferenz zu Transformativen Ökonomien, die in Barcelona organisiert wird. Sie dauert noch bis diesen Mittwoch, 1. Juli. An diesem Tag wird es ein Follow-Up zu den beiden Workshops der Degrowth-Konferenz zu Strategien Solidarischer Ökonomien geben.

Brief Description: The workshop focuses on the contribution of solidarity economy (SSE) to a degrowth perspective. What are strategies for solidarity economy as an approach to economic democracy and how can linkages between various actors be strengthened? The workshop aims at fostering a process of strategic reflection taking into account practical international experiences from SSE as well as COVID-19 related challenges, and asks: “What are elements of a theory of change towards a degrowth solidarity economy?”
Methodology and expected results: This workshop follows a similar one that took place during the Degrowth 2020 online conference. The goal of the workshop is to collect experiences with and ideas for strategies to foster solidarity economy on the international level, especially regarding South-North relations. These strategies should converge towards a mid-range “theory of change”
