Este libro refleja nuestros esfuerzos por ofrecer, desde múltiples perspectivasdisciplinares, un enfoque crítico al concepto de desarrollo a partir del diálogo entre los retos de la realidad socioambiental, los aportes de la Iglesia católica y las disciplinas específicas de los autores. Frente a las graves crisis socioecológicas vigentes globales se torna urgente esta crítica, para, a partir de allí, favorecer la reflexión acerca de los modos venideros de gestión de la convivencia en la casa común.

New volume: The Catholic Concept of Development in Latin America Today

The publication is approaching the topic of development from different and critical disciplinary angles. This is done by way of a dialogue between social-ecological challenges, contributions of the Catholic Church, and the respective disciplines of the authors. In the face of grave social ecological crises makes this critical approach is urgent. Against this background, the volume attempts to inspire discussions about future forms of living together in the ‘common house’. Neuer Sammelband: Das katholische Konzept von Entwicklung in Lateinamerika heute

Der Sammelband nähert sich kritisch und aus verschiedenen disziplinären Blickwinkeln dem Konzept der Entwicklung an. Dies geschieht in Form eines Dialogs zwischen den sozial-ökologischen Herausforderungen, den Beiträgen der katholischen Kirche und den jeweiligen Disziplinen der Autor:innen. Angesichts gravierender sozial-ökologischer Krisen ist dieser kritische Zugang dringend notwendig. Davon ausgehend will der Band dazu anregen, verstärkt über zukünftige Formen des Zusammenlebens im ‘gemeinsamen Haus’ nachzudenken.
